Photography Education in Bali

Education

Education is the key to existence and development. Industrialisation is striking every part of our globe. The World is a small place, no land mass is undiscovered or unmapped. Hidden villages and forgotten societies can be found within any given google search.

Sharing, giving, learning, discovering the earth is in fact round is the greatest gift... taking a photo of it is the best proof.

Recycled Digital Cameras

Digital Cameras

It is only with light that we can create an image. Without a camera we can"t see through to the light.

Any old camera will do! The preference is for Compact digital and SLR digital cameras. Digital cameras were first introduced into the commercial market in 1982. These cameras had many, many teething problems. Cameras would hesitate to take a photo, a problem known as shutter lag. The structure of pixels were in the developing stage. Not all pixels are of equal quality and structure. Cameras did not have enough megapixels, therefore restricting the size that an image could be enlarged to. Processors and sensors were not be able to record an adequate tonal range, resulting in poor colours and skin tones appearing erratic and not true to life.

As technology has advanced many of us have replaced our first digital cameras.

It is these old disused cameras we are needing. Donate these photography camera and we will trek them right into the areas that need them. They will continue to bring about many more years of smiles, happiness and joy.

Let us give these cameras a chance to click again.

Recycled Film Camera

Film Cameras

The advanced student program is teaching children the wonderful properties of film.

Film and alternative print processes should not be forgotten. The medium commonly used now only by artists and purists. Film has the unique advantage of having an irregular grain structure, giving it a depth and characteristic that has yet to be replicated within a digital camera.

The downfall of analogue is it is comparitively expensive and is under threat of becoming totally obsolete.

The children will be learning about the beauty of Black and White darkroom and developing processes. We shall be teaching Black and White photography on SLR film cameras.

Your donation of any types of film camera will help in making our world a happier place.
